Built in ca. 1930, this historic building served as a regional meeting place for the Scottish masons. An 18th century estate stands at the front of the property. Behind it was a large catering hall and 1,000-seat stage and theater. Spearheaded by the mayor of Collingswood, Jim Maley, the Town plans to fully renovate the entire facility over three phases as a first class Ballroom and Theater for name events, weddings, and large parties. DAS completed Phase 1, which included the full renovation of the prior catering Hall into a 500 seat luxurious Ballroom. DAS also designed the lobby addition with an elevator to provide hadicapped accessibility to the mezzanine level, and the entry plaza, which welcomes guests and serves as a reception area. | |
