David Schultz, co-founder and principal with DAS Architects in Philadelphia, has been elected to the Board of Directors of Bartram’s Garden, a 45-acre National Historic Landmark, operated by the John Bartram Association in cooperation with Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. Bartram’s Garden is a one-of-a-kind destination and an outdoor classroom, living laboratory, and membership organization for ever-expanding audiences―nearly 40,000 each year and counting.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dave to our board,” said Maitreyi Roy, Bartram’s Garden executive director. “He brings a ton of hospitality experience that will be incredibly valuable to us. We have a few major projects in the planning stages, and Dave’s counsel and advice will be very important as we make key strategic decisions.”
“It’s a great honor to serve as a board member of Bartram’s Garden,” said Schultz. “I am a huge fan of the organization and look forward to helping out any way I can.”
