Lord Residence

The Lord Residence is located in Cape May, NJ in an area called “Harbor Cove”.  The three-story home is based on the client’s desire for a Gambrel roof design and their family ties to Nantucket and traditional New England architecture.   The home is detailed with well-proportioned and authentic trim profiles and elements with cedar shake siding and roof shingles.

The four-bedroom home incorporates a large living and entertaining area on the 2^nd floor with an open kitchen that also opens onto a screened-in porch for indoor-outdoor dining that also features an outdoor bar and grill.

The top floor is a spacious Master Bedroom Suite with an octagonal porch and fireplace, along with an outdoor sun deck with harbor views.

The custom-built three-story open staircase floats within a tall windowed space full, of natural light that ties the home together.
